2019 Summer Camps are available for Registration at Cutting Edge.  Train with Head Instructors Jason Bergeron and Stefan Legein.

JB 3 ON 3 – SESSION 1 (2011-2013)

JB 3 ON 3 – SESSION 2 (2008-2010)

The JB 3 on 3 summer camps with Cutting Edge Head Instructor Jason Bergeron offer the perfect balance between high end skill development and small area games enabling players to implement the skills they’re learning into situations that closely mimic what they will encounter in games.

Each day will feature a 60 minute high intensity skill development session with Head Instructor Jason Bergeron.  Each afternoon players will participate in a 60 minute  3 on 3 game providing players with the opportunity to integrate the skills they have practiced into game situations while receiving immediate feedback.  Possessing skill is only part of the equation.  Understanding when and how to utilize those skills during a game is just as important.  This program provides both the technical and tactical training every young player requires with a particular emphasis on skating, stick handling and shooting skills.

Off-Ice training to improve each player’s agility, balance, coordination and quickness as well as stick handling and shooting skills will also be incorporated into the daily itinerary.

Primary Points of emphasis in the SL49 Pro Skills Program:
On Ice: Edge control, turning, evasion techniques all with pucks, including tight space training. One of the advantages of training on smaller ice rinks is that there is very little dead space, similar to a game. The drills will closely mimic game situations with the speed, intensity and competitiveness of a game forcing players to make quick and accurate decisions and as they develop skill and creativity.
OFF-ICE: quick hand and foot work, game simulated movements, all work done off ice will be made to simulate on ice situations and work on training the players hands and feet to operate as one making for quicker and smoother on ice play.
Shooter pad: one timers, quick release, hand eye, weighted puck work, off balance shooting. The focus of the shooter pad will be to work exclusively on each players ability to shoot the puck at a high velocity and with precision and to learn to score more goals.
